482 Visa

This Temporary Skill Shortage Visa allows employers to sponsor workers in a nominated occupation. The worker must have the right skills and two years’ experience in that occupation. The visa can run from 1 to 4 years.

ENS 186 Visa Direct Entry Stream

The Employer Nomination Scheme 186 Visa direct entry stream requires applicants to have a positive skills assessment for their occupation. Registration or licensing is also required for some occupations. There are no geographical restrictions but the employer and applicant must commit to a two-year employment period. The 186 visa is a permanent work visa and is one of the popular Employer Sponsored Visas.

494 Visa

This Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa requires a positive skills assessment. It is geographically specific with the work needing to be located in a designated regional area. Employment must be available for at least five years.

EMPLOYER SPONSORED VISAS – 407 Visa

This Training Visa allows visa holders to participate in work-based occupation training to improve their skills in their field of expertise. To be eligible, applicants must be sponsored and nominated or invited by the Australian business providing the training. The nominating business must be approved as a Temporary Activities Sponsor. This visa is generally valid for 2 years.

EMPLOYER SPONSORED VISAS – GTES Visa

The Global Talent Employer Sponsored Visa Program allows employers to sponsor overseas workers for highly skilled positions. It’s designed to benefit Australia and Australian employees. The employer must show how employing the highly skilled overseas worker will create more jobs or transfer specialised knowledge to Australian workers. The employer must also demonstrate that they cannot fill the position with a local worker. There are two streams of this program: Established Business Stream and Start-up Stream. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience directly relevant to the nominated position. This is a permanent visa.
