Work Visa Sponsor – Register Now to Connect

If you are a skilled worker trying to find a work visa sponsor then Oz Migration Services reckons a new West Australian initiative could be the answer for you.

The West Australian Government has started a Skilled Migrant Employment Register.  Best of all it’s a FREE government service.  It’s called the  Skilled Migrant Employment Register and  connects  skilled migrants with West Australian employer.

Details of skilled migrants seeking Western Australian employment such as occupation, current location and employment intentions are published on the Skilled Migrant Employment Register.

All you do to connect with a work visa sponsor is complete the Western Australian Workforce registration form and your de-identified details will be published on the Skilled Migrant Employment Register.

When an employer wishes to connect with you, WA Migration Services gives the employer your contact detail so that they can get in touch with you.

This work visa sponsor initiative will allow foreign workers living either overseas or interstate to record their interest in relocating to WA.

WA businesses will be able to search the register for workers with qualifications or skillsets they require and then offer to sponsor their visas.

More Jobs

There are now more jobs on offer in WA than there are unemployed West Australians and unprecedented labour shortages are crippling growth across industries – as well as basic service delivery in areas like health and aged care.

At the same time the WA Government has added a further six occupations to its Skilled Migration Occupation List:  project builders, surveyors, building inspectors, building and engineering technicians, roof tilers and air-conditioning and refrigeration mechanics.

This new WA Government initiative could be the solution that many skilled workers are seeking.
